The role

EAMOT is an AI-first energy management and IoT company, deployed across 2000+ sites in India for enterprise customers in BFSI, quick-service restaurants, logistics and aviation ground handling. Our engineering work creates real commercial value — savings reports, pilot results, deployment milestones, new products such as our aviation ground-support-equipment maintenance intelligence offering. Today, translating that work into proposals, client communication, marketing assets and management reporting sits with senior leadership, and it competes with the technical work for their time. This role takes ownership of that entire layer. It is high-visibility and high-agency: you will be in rooms and email threads with enterprise clients well above your years of experience. In return, we expect judgement, accuracy and follow-through.

What you would own

  1. 01Pipeline ownership — maintain the opportunity pipeline end to end: stages, owners, next actions, and dates
  2. 02Account research — build target-account briefs for prospects across BFSI, QSR, logistics and aviation: site footprint, energy spend profile, decision-makers, incumbent vendors, likely objections
  3. 03Outreach and follow-up — draft and send first-touch and follow-up emails and LinkedIn messages in the leadership team’s voice, and track every reply to closure
  4. 04Meeting preparation — schedule client meetings and prepare a one-page pre-read for each: who is in the room, what they last heard from us, what we want out of the conversation
  5. 05Post-meeting discipline — circulate notes and commitments within 24 hours, and track action items to completion
  6. 06Proposals and RFP responses — assemble commercial proposals, RFP responses and scope documents, pulling technical inputs from engineering and shaping them into client-ready language
  7. 07Pitch decks — build and maintain pitch decks for each vertical and product line, refreshed as the story changes rather than rebuilt from scratch every time
  8. 08Case studies and savings reports — convert deployment and monitoring results into customer-facing case studies, pilot summaries and periodic savings reports
  9. 09Positioning content — write and maintain product one-pagers, website copy, and vertical-specific messaging for the platform and new products
  10. 10LinkedIn and thought leadership — run a consistent publishing cadence on the company page and ghost-draft posts and articles for the leadership team
  11. 11Campaigns — plan and execute outbound email and content campaigns for specific verticals, and report honestly on what worked and what did not
  12. 12Management reporting — prepare weekly and monthly review packs: pipeline movement, deployment status, client escalations and open decisions, and manage the leadership calendar for client-facing commitments
  13. 13Single source of truth — own the internal reference for site counts, deployment status, client list and commercial metrics, so every external document quotes the same numbers
  14. 14Verify before you publish — no figure goes into a client document until it has been checked against source. A caveat is always acceptable; a wrong number in front of a client is not
  15. 15Working with AI tools — use AI assistants for research, first drafts, summarisation and formatting so volume is never the constraint, and verify every fact, figure and citation before it leaves the building

What we are looking for

  • ·An MBA or postgraduate qualification in management, marketing, communications or a related discipline, on top of a bachelor’s degree in any field. Exceptional candidates without a postgraduate degree but with outstanding written work will still be considered
  • ·1–3 years in a founder’s office, business development, marketing, consulting, or a similar generalist role. Exceptional recent graduates with demonstrable written work will be considered
  • ·Outstanding written and spoken English — the single most important requirement. You will be writing to CXOs at large enterprises
  • ·Strong presentation craft: you can take rough inputs and produce a clean, persuasive deck in PowerPoint or Google Slides
  • ·Working command of Excel or Google Sheets — pivots, lookups, clean charts
  • ·Structured research ability: you can go from a company name to a useful account brief without being told where to look
  • ·Comfort with technical subject matter — you do not need to be an engineer, but you must be able to sit through a technical discussion and come out with an accurate summary
  • ·Practical fluency with AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude for drafting and research
  • ·High ownership: you close loops without being chased, and you flag problems early rather than hiding them
  • ·Based in Mumbai, or willing to relocate. Occasional travel to client sites within India
A strong bonus, not a requirement
  • ·An engineering or technical undergraduate background — useful when absorbing platform, IoT and energy-efficiency detail, but not a requirement; we will teach the technical substance
  • ·Exposure to B2B SaaS, energy, IoT, facilities management or infrastructure
  • ·Design ability in Canva or Figma for collateral and social assets
  • ·Hands-on experience with a CRM (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) or a marketing automation tool
  • ·Basic SQL or dashboard literacy (Metabase, Grafana, Looker Studio)
  • ·Content marketing or SEO experience

How this goes from here.

  1. 01Thirty minutes with the person you would report to
  2. 02A scoped problem from the real backlog — paid if it runs long
  3. 03A site visit, so you see a machine room before an offer
  4. 04A yes or a no with reasons, within a week

In three to five sentences, tell us about a time you owned something end to end — and what the outcome was.
